We are looking for a Media Monitoring Executive to join our expanding team.
Role Overview
The Media Monitoring Executive plays an important role in keeping our agency and our clients informed ahead of market trends. This is a remote, part-time role, combining media monitoring and analysis.
Main Responsibilities – Media Monitoring & Analysis
- Media Coverage Reports: Compile daily media coverage reports, summaries and analysis reports.
- Daily Environment Scanning: Monitor Irish and international digital, print, broadcast, social media and regulatory bodies for relevant coverage.
Required Skills
- Comfortable working with online research tools, digital platforms and media monitoring systems.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to produce clear, concise and professional reports.
- Highly organised, with excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently while maintaining a high standard of work.
- A keen interest in news and current affairs, media and the evolving digital landscape.
- Professional, reliable and trustworthy, with the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Adaptable and flexible, with a willingness to learn new systems and processes.
- Ability to work to very tight deadlines, while maintaining exceptional accuracy and quality.
Technical Proficiency
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or Google Workspace is a requirement.
Experience
- Experience in a media monitoring, market research, intelligence gathering or datadriven business support role would be a distinct advantage.
- Experience or familiarity with media monitoring platforms (e.g. Meltwater, Muckrack, Google Alerts) and social listening tools would be a distinct advantage.
Working Hours
- This is a flexible, part-time, contract position. It would be ideally suited to a self-motivated, detail-orientated individual with excellent organisational skills, working independently.
- The successful candidate is required to work from 7am to 1pm, each Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, in addition to one hour every Saturday and Sunday morning. The required working hours reflect the need to deliver briefings / updates ahead of the start of the business day.
- This is a remote working, contract position covering 20 hours per week, at a starting hourly rate of €16.
