A Christmas message from Ann-Marie O’Sullivan, Chief Executive and Founder, AM O’Sullivan PR
As we near the end of 2019 and begin our preparations for Christmas, it is a good time to reflect on and review what has been a very successful and busy year at AM O’Sullivan PR.
Business growth
This year, the business has continued to grow, with the addition of a number of new clients and the appointment of three new team members. In April, Siobhán Howe and Susan O’Sullivan joined the team. Siobhán Howe joined as Senior Account Manager, and Susan O’Sullivan has been appointed to the role of Junior Account Executive. In July, Mark Harrington joined the team as Senior Account Executive.
IPREX
Earlier this year, we became a member of IPREX, a global communications platform for PR consultancies. IPREX is a $420 million network of communication agencies with 1,600 staff and 110 offices worldwide. This is a very exciting development for us. Our membership of IPREX increases our reach, providing us with the ability to support our clients in key markets across the world and strengthening our knowledge base.
Awards and recognition
In June 2019, we were awarded the Consultancy Management Standard (CMS). The CMS is a guarantee of the quality service our clients can expect from our team, as it ensures that the appropriate quality assurance systems are in place at AM O’Sullivan PR. In Ireland the CMS is independently audited and subsequently awarded by the Public Relations Consultants Association (Ireland).
In November, for the fourth year in a row, AM O’Sullivan PR was named as the Cork Communications Company of the Year at the Cork Business awards. We are truly grateful to receive this award, which acknowledges the expertise and effort of the AM O’Sullivan PR team. I was also humbled to be named as Cork Business Woman of the Year at the Cork Business awards.
Merry Christmas and best wishes for 2020
As we near the end of 2019, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued support during the year. Our success is very much due to the ongoing support and commitment that we receive from clients, suppliers, contractors and so many other stakeholders and we sincerely appreciate your interest in our business.
We will be making a donation to Good Shepherd Cork in lieu of Christmas cards. If you would like to support Cork’s only charity that supports homeless women and children, you can do so at www.goodshepherdcork.ie.
Finally, I’d like to take this opportunity to wish you all a very happy and peaceful Christmas and a prosperous 2020.
Our offices will close on Friday, December 20th 2019, and will reopen on Thursday, January 2nd, 2020 at 9am.
We look forward to working with you and supporting your organisation in 2020.
Best regards,
Ann-Marie O’Sullivan
