Client resource: Regulation of Lobbying Act 2015
AM O’Sullivan carries out lobbying on key areas of interest on behalf of a number of clients. Core skills required to carry out lobbying on behalf of our clients include those of identifying and analysing issues, building a case in response, getting access to decision makers, aligning private and public interests, persuading officials and politicians and deciding on private or public routes of influence. At AM O’Sullivan PR we conduct lobbying on behalf of clients to the highest standards and adhere to the Regulation of Lobbying Act 2015, which was signed into law in March 2015.
It was designed to provide information to the public about who is lobbying, on whose behalf lobbying is being carried out, the issues involved in the lobbying, the intended result of the lobbying and who is being lobbied. It was signed into law in March 2015.
We created a lobbying resource that provides information on the Act and that clarifies some key points for anyone involved in the lobbying process.
