We won! Cork Communications Company of the Year award for the second year in a row
For the second year in a row, AM O’Sullivan PR has been named as the Cork Communications Company of the Year.
The Cork Business Awards are the premier business awards in Cork and over 500 people attended the gala dinner recently at the Clayton Silver Springs Hotel.
The awards are the brainchild of entrepreneur Michael Mulcahy, who is Secretary General of The Global Diplomatic Centre, Chairman of Cork Civic Trust and CEO of No1 Media Group. Michael is a passionate supporter of all things Cork and the awards provide a focal point for all businesses in Cork.
On arrival to the event, attendees were treated to complimentary champagne and enjoyed the dulcet tones of the Cork City Samba Band. Guests were also treated to music from a classical trio of musicians.
Comperes for the event PJ Coogan and Brenda Dennehy of the Opinion Line on 96FM presented a total of 65 prizes to the winners. Guest speaker on the evening was broadcaster and former Government Minister Ivan Yates, who engaged with the audience in a wide ranging and thought-provoking speech about his own business life and his views on where Cork should be focusing on for the future.
The event brought together the best of what Cork has to offer in business and it was encouraging to see and hear about so many businesses in Cork expanding and thriving.
We were in a very competitive category of nominees under Cork Communications Company of the Year category but thankfully we emerged as the winner for 2017.
According to the judges, AM O’Sullivan PR is “steeped in the history of communicating with its audience and is led by a lady [Ann-Marie O’Sullivan] whose family experience of the sector spans a half century.”
The award recognised our breath of work, which includes public relations services and crisis management.
